Kathy / All

I will post up the running total for March tomorrow / Friday after people have had a chance to look at what I posted tonight (E3, Criterium International and Gent Wevelgem) and see if I've missed points etc.

Slightly late, but here are the results of the March jury. I was not surprised to see Boogie in an early one man breakaway as he's been on a Saganesque streak of consistency recently. I am very surprised to find myself in second position and again not so surprised to see Maffy rounding out the podium.

Hope I've got this right - not so much time for double checking Sad

Boogie keeps his lead, but Maffy and Slapshot are bunching up behind him.

Lots and lots of points to play for in May. Get your Giro and California picks in.

I'll audit these properly during the week, but here's where I think we got to in May. Boogie stretches his lead, Slapshot climbs a step and I stagger back onto the podium.

Whilst in June, Boogie sees his lead trimmed a little and Huw takes a big step onto the podium.

July saw Boogie continue to lead Slapshot with a slight reduction, whilst Maffy climbed back onto the podium ahead of Huw.

With the Vuelta straddling two months, I've rolled the most recent scores into "Summer 2016". Boogie continues to lead and has stretched it out somewhat. I manage to climb past an AWOL (anyone got any news?) Slapshot into 2nd. We also seem to have lost Fontfroide for some reason?

Anyway, there are still up to about 2000 theoretical points to be won so there is much scope for change in our Autumn wind down. There are no foregone conclusions yet Smile

Remaining races are Eneco, Lombardy, Paris-Tours and the World Championships.

Just so you know, I am not actually lost, just not playing so actively.  Got to be hard to find the time.  Too many races for me.  And a systemI feel not that comfortable with.  Also am not as well as I would like, currently in hospital.  I guess I like the games where you pick a team and see how they do.  Even that I just forget to do, like the Vuelta, even though I was watching.

I am here, but healing and not picking.

Probably full of errors, but this is where I think we got to in the end. The pretty much inevitable winner after Eneco was Boogie, so a new pair of cleats on the top step at the end of the year.

A very close result for second in the end, with Maffy pipping me by 5 points to the all important 2nd place as he foretold in a prophesy (or calculated by using mathematics . . . whatever you prefer).

Congratulations to the winner and the runner up, thanks to Kathy for taking on lots of the work, thanks to everyone for playing, thanks to those who posted up start lists, route details etc. when I forgot or was too busy to do so, and thanks to those who sorted out the calendar at the start of the year. And thanks to anyone else I forgot.

Hopefully those who normally join us but have taken a break recently will be rested and back with us next year.

I dedicate my win to Sagan, and a promise that i won't double up on him next season Wink

Thank you Bio & Kathy for the excellent job you do all year round to make this competition and keep it up-to-date. Chapeau!
