Pretty much.

It was a very dull race outside  of the froome descent 2 weeks ago, the froome/Sagan attack on the windy day and bardet's attack yesterday. Riders seemed happy to ride along like me on a Sunday.

The GC group lost a minute on izaguire on the descent while also lost 30 seconds to jrod, reminded me of ivan Basso's descending. The rest today on both the ascent and descent seemed content.

Quintana's performance reminded me of nibali's first 17 stages in this years giro.

Good for both bardet and froome on the podium and they both deserve it but overall, everyone seemed happy to ride along today and for most of the  3 weeks

There is too much to lose rather than something to gain, from attacking vs. the attritional tactic of surviving as long as possible.

Froome and SKY must have been worried before the first TT of a serious challenge emerging, hence the unusual opportunistic attacking in the 1st week.

As it happened, none of it was needed. A comfortable win. Bertie going home, and Pinot & Nairo not turning up = an easy win for Froome against the 2nd string of favourites (not big 4). Bardet took advantage best yesterday, otherwise it was more luck and fortune that put Bauke or Yates in the positions to defend the first place.

Aru's big collapse today - this will be his worst GC result in his career (first out of top 10!).

Curious to see out of the nu-generation, which rider has a good enough TT to challenge Froome, in case there is 40-50km of time trialling he is almost certain of victory while he takes the climbers for 3mins plus against the clock.

Shockingly poor Tour IMO. Aru's problem today doomed the GC race to a snooze fest.  At least the lad has a go and might have shaken it up a bit.  Yates happy with fourth place even though Quintana is overrated and under performing.  Quintana happy with third without event trying to put pressure on Bardet. Pathetic.

Rider of the Tour with the most panache ... pains me to say it, but Froome took time with two clever opportunist moves early on and cemented his commanding position with the ITT.  Strangely, despite the superstring team I didn't think he looked as dominant in the mountains as before ... perhaps he is so much better he decided to win in a different way to make friends and overt suspicion.  Anyways ... chapeau.

Kelderman's crash has made it to air.
Heras corner claims another victim.
Quite nasty:

This one, also on the Joux Plane was less nasty:

Been without internet for a couple of days. Really expected more to have happened regarding the podium yesterday (even if it was raining).

Just switched on TV expecting to see jersey presentation, instead of seeing Quintana marking Kreuziger over a speed bump. Is there a joke I'm not party to?

If my number was up, and I could pick just one sports event to see, it would the final Paris stage.  Given that Le Tour is as much pagaent as bike race, then today is the perfect mix of the two.  I can't think of a better day than one that starts with a nice late breakfast around Rue de Rivoli (I can't remember the name of the cafe, but it knows who I mean), maybe a mosey around Musee d'Orsay for an hour or so, then get a fortutious spot on the walls at Tuileries for the show, maybe a beer or glass of wine after the sprint is done (won preferably by the Maillot Vert) and then a nice evening stroll down to Le Montparnasse 1900 for dinner.  It's a special melancholic day that, for me, is just wonderful.  There are plenty of Tours that I have seen but couldn't remember who won a Queen stage or a decisive TT, but I can usually remember who won the sprint in Paris - still the most special city in the world...

It's all done and dusted now, chapeau Greipel.

With gaps on the champs Elysée, today might change the top 10 sequence more than yesterday  [edit - I see the peloton got the same time so that's ok]

Excellent win for greipl today and also Chloe hosking

Not quite Armstrongesque ... but pretty 'impressive'.
