Not really, as Berg has returned it's only correct that we restore his admin rights which I've done. He's registered a new account in the original name though if it's acceptable with the hosts I'll restore his original account, post count's that sort of thing.

If anyone has any objections to this please email me...........and I'll completely ignore it! Wink  Wink

thanks, awesome!!

But I can't laugh at them if I do that Wink

A paid troll? Really? That's amazing.

I'm not sure being an LA apologist following a prescribed script is any worse than some of the more un-objective posts on here, but I'll presume it was the trolling/wumming aspect that led to ban.

Agree that it sounds incredible but the CN mods are dealing with it daily, we don't want to, MJM is their new good behaviour talisman on CN, only kidding MJM.

When you see a similar post appear numerous times, same text and grammar but different posters you know there's something fishy going on. It's widely known that LA has a PR company working on his behalf badmouthing landis, lemond etc, doling ot the trashy soundbites in LA Apologist Bingo, hat sort of stuff. We've been lucky so far, we haven't had to deal with the trolling like that.

CN gets what it deserves. A combination of blowhards and retards is not good for your sanity. It makes the BBC seem sensible.

I think there are certain advantages of flying under the radar.

Well I had a post moderated on CN for suggesting that Schleck photo they use was just conforming to the Euro-rules rule about all photos being as homo-erotic as possible.

Apparently that is of a 'sexual nature'. It's like some weirdo Southern purity, no-profanity, god-bothering, moral strait-jacket.

Totally agree about CN forums. Saw a couple of posts that had been moderated and the just basically removed the words that they found offensive and replaced them with asterisks! Why didn't they just delete the whole post and say "Moderated". I've also noticed that some of the Mods just step in and say that a certain thread has been stopped!

Me, I like our justcycling "family". We don't always get on together all the time, but at least we respect each other and usually know when to quit if necessary. Awh, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!

What I found amusing was that suggesting that the Schleck photo was homo-erotic was deemed to be of a 'sexual nature' but the next paragraph which said that at least it wasn't Dertie in a posing pouch was deemed to be fine.

So you can suggest a homo-erotic image, but you can't call it that.

Sounds like you have a moderator who seems to have issues and sees posts of a 'sexual nature' everywhere. Lets hope she never looks at any ancient Greek pottery or reads any Tennessee Williams.
