I mean every time I see that ad I hear Jack Lord in my head  finish it off with a punchy "Danno!"

Or is it just me.

and perhaps Greg LeMond.

Interesting, you don't see an ad that looks like this?

Try using AdBlock Plus for Firefox or Chrome. You'll never see the ad again... Smile

A Quinn Martin Production....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F0wlfmxKdU

I suspect the ad is a product of your recent browsing history so would be different for all of us?

Since I get no ads for Asian Ass Porn I doubt they are history context sensitive.

I think the ads that you get are region dependant - I get all kinds of Dutch adverts.

Better still the ads can be IP specific, the more intelligent ones can actually lift from your browser and display ads from websites/ads you have already been looking at, eg the Memsahib had been on Halfords site looking for a satnav upgrade, I cane back in here only to find halfords as my banner ad....... It was obviously time to update my spyware when that happened!!

Oh, that's interesting and informative - didn't realise that's what spyware did.....always thought it was for nasty stuff, not something as innocuous as some innocent ads, but I guess it depends on what sites you've been surfing. D'Oh!

Must upgrade mine too!

Cr*p!  My browser must be telling the ad company computers that I live in the "Morons who admire gaping arseholes who dope to win" demographic.

I am willing to trade 10 FRS and 5 "Book Lance" ads for one Dutch ad of any type.
