hoping someone somewhere catches the live pointy dish feeds for the last two. fingers crossed.
lombardia now intES 1530-1730(or not) and raitre 1600-1720 cest
bet we still don't see the ghisallo. will harmon be present?
don't forget the superprestige cross is on the net again this year at http://www.vt4.be/ . nys tonked albert last week, even after albert blasted the start.
Caught Steve Peat winning the downhill title, this morning.
looked happy, didn't he. silly sport though downhill, their bikes are too small and their shirts too flappy. and they don't actually pedal that much.
That's the sport they get there bikes to the Top on a Ski Lift. !
I'd love to have had a chance of that in my day. That's just up my street.
Sorry it's down my street.
it does look kinda "fun to try" although a ski lift would help
i'm just not sure if it's worth the uci awarding a rainbow jersey for it. if they could manage not to do show off bits on the jumps and there wasn't a limited number of cycling award spots, i might be convinced. chuck the bloody bmx from the limpix, morons. _________________ ...on the one hand, we were serious political revolutionaries who wanted to overthrow the government. on the other hand, we were on acid...

There is a Rai Tre link on cyclingfans which may be available. Alternatively, trawl through the justintv links at abou 3/4 pm CET. _________________ "You can't win races with passion alone."
heard a rumour sir obree would be in the commentary box, too, at least on radiofivelitesportsextra.
the wireless coverage was pretty darn good, i thought, for english speaking cycling coverage. well done to simon brotherton and sir obree. whoever fed the questions for steve parry to ask (phils?) did a great job too. excellent.
thanks for the compliments maffy. it was a full-on production job with two new presenters (new, as in new to cycling) in steve parry and mike sewell, and graeme working for the first time as a co-commentator. working with graeme was an honour, he's a super bloke and full of stories and humour despite his well-documented problems. simon brotherton, as ever, was pure silk as a commentator, and we had a young lad called adam tranter doing trackside interviews. he'll be a name to look out for in cycling journalism in years to come.
Cyclo cross from Kokside(sic) this w/e. Bit like a crit in off road conditions and sand and aqua..oh and lots of beer and crowds blah blah blah..get the picture??? _________________ Last km a.k.a "The Tewkesbury Badger"!!
another czech win at koksijde, i believe, although no elite video on crosstube just yet. netherlands round of superprestige tomorrow at 14.30 cet
beeb cycling related next week:
Fr, Dec 4 · 11:00-11:30 · BBC Wireless 4 - Lives in a Landscape
BMX Brothers
Original stories about real lives in Britain today. 5/6: Alan Dein meets two teenage brothers who are swapping life on a south London estate for the elite British cycling academy.
Su, Dec 6 · 18:05-18:55 · BBC2 - A Day Out
Alan Bennett's first television play, directed in black and white in 1972 by Stephen Frears. A charming comedy set in Edwardian Yorkshire, it follows a cycling club on a day out. A fantastic cast features Brian Glover, who was still a professional wrestler at the time, and Paul Shane, who was then a club comic.
plan a sensible travel itinerary? that would be silly. you could have seen the ghent six, a cyclocross and the christmas market would have been open for al-fresco ice skating. inseinespeculation. would have missed all the splendid big puddles, wind, fog and weathery numbers that the uk has to offer at this time of year. mmm, würst. not sure if i like bitzer's new look, however.
