I'm guessing Route du Sud, along with "last chance" Wout Poels, who was originally penciled in to ride this.

I had no trouble posting your picks for you. Or indeed mine.

Temporary glitch? If it's real and persists for others then post here on this thread or something.

I see intermittent issues now. The link to the thread was not working. The last post link was working at the same time, so try that too

Now both work OK, so I think there is just a bit of stuff going on in the background with new owners.

Gilbert reckons he was working for Trentin, but things got a bit confusing in the end Laughing

Not much to be found on yesterday's "Crashgate" affecting the Yellow-and-Blue jersey.
I guess that any remaining etiquette in the sport is even less applicable to non-GT races.

On the subject of historical etiquette:
Quote:
"During my time, when a rider was down he was attacked,. "When I was hit by the motorbike, I was almost dead on the side of the road and my rivals attacked. When I had a puncture, I was attacked, when I stopped for a wee-wee, I was attacked. And that was normal."

Raymond Poulidor.

Several crashes again today. After an almost crash free Giro and Dauphine, it was due.

Some of those attacks yesterday after Dennis' crash came from his own team Wink

Caught the final on a stream yesterday and it looked a tough finish.   I did make a note to investigate Bern for a weekender though, it looked very nice indeed...

aye. it looked splendid. bmc fair stromered through it in a blur which appeared to not result to their benefit. porte, r may have seen it differently.

I work in Bern. It is lovely to visit but expensive. Expensive not being helped by the self harm the Brits keep doing to themselves and dragging the Euro with them. If you remember this rough helicopter shot from yesterday,

then my train crosses one of the bridges in the top right corner and looking the opposite direction I have this view over the city. Eiger (the shadowy triangular bit being the north wall) is the peak above the smaller spire, whilst the Jungfrau is the the peak above the big spire. Monch in the middle. Tis a very nice view to start the day indeed.

Just caught up with today's racing. Glad to see the last climb break the field up as it did. I did the two climbs in today's stage last summer and it was very tough climbing to Villars sur Ollon. Pleased to see even the big boys find it hard.

Did non Swiss TV show Warbase having a good cry about his win? Not what you normally see from a stage winner but touching Smile

french l24 showed it. 'twas an excellent win.
Tour de Suisse: Sat 10th June - Sun 18th June 2017
I watched it live on German tv channel Sport+1.
For some crazy reason or other, they have Quigley and Smith commentating, this week. So it's really ad free Eurosport.
Yes, they did have Warbasse's very emotional interview.
Touching, as you say. It was his only win as a pro in six years.
So, he went big for his first one and Aqua Bluw must be over the moon.

Another interesting fact: His only previous two pro teams were BMC and IAM.
So, sort of a home win.
Tour de Suisse: Sat 10th June - Sun 18th June 2017
Yes, it is on eurosports highlight, touching moment.

Good win and chapeau to Larry warbasse
Tour de Suisse: Sat 10th June - Sun 18th June 2017
aquablue were decent enough in the classics to be given another go or two before this.

l24 shoved in more longer advert breaks than they did in the giro, but hey, still betterer than es.
