Sshh, you'll be giving Ralph ideas for impressing the ladies at Uni.

My brother missed out too and he reckoned 9:00:31 was too late!

The Mrs wanted to watch a bit of Falco this week and since I was in the mood our newest member prompted me to watch this

Anyway, leaving all that aside I want the rematch between Sm and AoL on Ziegelhousenberg to be videoed with this as the soundtrack  Wink

i love her. her songs are excellent.

i originally checked her solo stuff out in 2004 (to sound elitist. before she was a big star) because of her workings with the musician Jason Beck (better known as Gonzales) who has produced alot of her solo work and co-written a fair portion of it

and this is the song i can credit for getting me into Gonzales own stuff. that's beautiful piano at the start

Link

this i credit with getting me into the associated acts to Gonzales like Mocky, Peaches, Jamie Lidell, Taylor Savvy and of course Leslie Feist

Gonzales has also down a solo piano album which was great. my father even thpought it was better then the usual rubbish i listen to.

his latest album is a 80's esque pop album

I too get to listen to a lot of Feist due to sharing a CD player Laughing

I've been sharing this one which is good since The Avalanches are suffering from impossible second album syndrome and especially good as it reminds me of the summer that's departing

Heard a heavily remixed version of this on TV the other day. They don't make pop stars like they used to

after the lord mayor's show muzak

something about it reminds me of springsteen's the wild the innocent and the east street shuffle, which is a record i still rather like.

Feist are great, but you ave to be in the mood I find - like Joni Mitchell.

Richard and Linda Thompson, Jet Plane and a Rocking Chair - nice harmony.

I always enjoy giving this one a spin

Checking their Wiki page, I noticed they featured a Gene Gifford, who reminded me of Barry Gifford, who wrote Wild at Heart, which featured the above in its movie adaptation. Turns out there's another six books of the Sailor and Lula story Shocked

Bobby Peru - just like the country  Laughing

First time I heard Feist was when Apple used her song 1-2-3-4 for their iPod commercial a year or so ago.  It was a cute video too. Apple does come up with some interesting music & video for their commercials.
