Maybe he did and I missed it. I was not long back after a bike ride myself and faffing a bit getting a drink and a bit to eat, although I didn't hear any excited Italian commentary along the lines of "parte Fuglsang" whilst in the kitchen. I didn't record it so can't double check.

I expect that Aru being out front with Valverde was exciting enough for any Italian commentator.

I'm not sure of the order they went, but Martin, Bardet and Fuglsang formed a trio.
Porte managed to work back up to some of the others - e.g. Gallopin - but those 3 big names got away.
Then when Gallopin tried for a second time Contador (and Meintjes ?) got away leaving Porte and Froome, who also finally attacked over the top of the climb.

Porte was actually very impressive on the final climb, considering he'd had to work alone on the preceding flat bit. Not really a collapse.
You have to wonder whether he'd have won if it wasn't for Kwiatkowski.

BMC have to do better - maybe have sent all their best mountain support team to the TdS ?

Well for me, the holding on to the car stuff just looks like a Benny Hill chase scene as they go speeding off and when I see it nowadays that's the music that plays in my head. For me his brother being caught for the same was amusing despite the fact that yes there's a more serious side to it. But he's a small fry so it barely merits mentioning were it not for his sibling.

What I watched of the linked video (I stopped half way through) just seemed out of context to me and they are old criticisms (but valid subjects of discussion).

Not wanting to detract from a very good day of racing yestarday, I will just say (sort of in response to half of the video I watched) that all the big GC riders have at their best in the last few years produced very similar power outputs which are at the border of what is humanly feasible. Which is where the best in the world should be operating or where a well managed program would place a lesser rider.

Hard to tell them apart. Basically, if we suspect one of them for whatever reason, then basically we need to suspect them all.
