The three guys on the cover of Velo magazine currently in front.  Semi-prescient.

Sad to see Yates and Landa and Thoms wiped out.  Maybe they will be free to do a stage later.

Quintana definitely after a few seconds.

Unfortunately, Thomas's time is to Jungels, I think.

Dumoulin amazing ride.

Quite possibly the definitive stage of this Giro and it's flavour is sour.
We were robbed and will never know.

Nibali rode in Basso mode - I didn't notice him out of the saddle once.  Thibaut is all growed up now.  Major ride from Major Tom and it will be interesting how much he can gain in the next TT.

I can't warm to Quintana at all, nor his team, but that was impressive

Shocking that idiotic stewardship can ruin a rider or teams race

Retain optimism.  The road is long, much can happen.  But it is sad enough to wipe out riders.

Apparently Thomas had his shoulder pop out in the crash.

Quintana and his defining Giro stages tend to leave that kind of sour taste alright...

Gutsy, but must have serious aftereffects one day.

Tom Dumoulin has also lost his only proper mountain domestique in Wilko Keldeman.
He was well peed off to say the least.
3 GC contenders out and a further strong one isolated before the final week.

There will be repercussions.

One  day on a rest day or something, I would love to know why a number of us don't warm to Quintana.  He has big glasses and seldom smiles or suffers or what.  None of us could have any prejudice against Columbians, they are cool enough.  Is it we don't like winners?  I have no idea.  But one day, I would like to her some opinions.  Maybe he just does not work on his image with interviews in English or Spanish even.

Was watching live and got dispatched to shops for emergency baking ingredients just as crash happened. It made a right mess of the GC battle -  if it ends up being another GT win for Quintana it will be another I put a mental asterisk beside Rolling Eyes

Nibali actually went better than I expected him to despite him going backwards. Dumoulin surprised me. I did think about sticking with him for the FP, but I thought it was surely too much. His time trialling will make it interesting.

1. He cheated to win the 2014 Giro
2. I struggle to believe he is legit because of the length of time he spends (or at least used to spend) in S.America with relatively little testing
3. Until very resentantly he was a frustratingly conservative rider choosing to save his effort for 1-2 days in week three (even his Vuelta win was a result of following Berties crazy attack rather than initiating something himself)
4. He's not Italian
