We surely did mess up on Stage 1, most of us.  We DID NOT pick sprinters, much.  We usually don't get it that wrong.  Are we slipping?

Yesterdays updated Stage 2 results and fresh Stage 3 results: Huw leapfrogs to the top step . . .

Edit: Nolte's pick from a few mins ago is already registered, but I won't upload a new screen grab.

i reckon today will be slightly more selective than monday, making young max even more likely to be dropped like a proper sprinter should. happy to be proved wrong, mind. i'd have tried to spell sbraggly if huw hadn't already.

And it's a bunched up podium as far as rows in a spreadsheet are concerned:

Stage 5

Bardet.

I was reading another forum's predictions for this race.  They mentioned loads of riders, and never even mentioned Bardet.  I suppose they could be right, but he does seem to be one of the youngish French riders of some quality.  Seems he should be mentioned in any race with a long hill or two.  Still, the quality of riders is this race is quite high.

Stage 6

Must admit I have no idea if it will be a break (and therefore which of at least fifteen riders might take it), or a sprint with a few guys who can ride easily up that last hill.

Making things easy, I will assume small group in which will be the winner.

Valverde I suppose.
