Had a look at the betting today and noticed BF's buddy Gesink was a rather large 100/1.  So I googled to see how he was going and came across his website at http://www.robertgesinkofficial.com

I was amazed to see such a professional website, it's better than many corporate sites and has a heap of info on it.  He might be better off spending some more time training but it is well worth a look

It starts today. As it kicks off with a TTT, there is still relatively plenty of time to get picks in (partenza prima squadra circa 13:00GMT)

He says he hit a hole in the road and catastrophic failure of the carbon rim followed! Scary.

I like the way that both races scheduled a TT today so as to not have viewers flipping channels in search of excitement Wink

True.
A nice looking stage to day, though.
Another flat stage on the Paris-Nice menu.
No wonder almost all the sprinters went to France.

Sky's 3 wheeler wheelgate.
BMC were on them as well.
Rai were live with over 100kms to go.
They certainly have pushed the boat out as much as Paris-Nice have reeled the boat in.

On that subject, Kirby has just confirmed every stage of the Tour will be on Eurosport, live from gun to tape.

That win should cue a few caustic remarks in various parts.
Thomas goes long and holds on.
Tom Dumoulin nips in for 2nd and BF's best bud flies the final 150 metres to nab 3rd.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone else enter a team in T--R on Velogames?

I did, but I guess I am alone ...

Sagan beats Viviani in a crash marred finish.
Gaviria taken out, pile up behind.
Of course completely missed by clueless Kirby and co, even after a slo mo replay.
Took a circled close up and a shot of the carnage behind to clue them up.

Absolutely appalling an utterly amateurish, when compared to how eagle eyed Hatch was yesterday.

Thanks for the heads up, I don't think I'll bother watching tonight because Kirby annoys me enough anyway without that kind of carry on.  Hatch and Kelly are so far ahead there is no comparison.

And no, you are not alone  Wink and I did post a league entry...

Cold and sunny on the Terminillo today

Sorry I didn't get round to entering PN or TA teams this year. Everything was a bit hectic coming back from holidays . . .

Enjoyed the rugby last night, if not the result. Cracking game though. At least it's one less event to have to try and follow today.

On the above subject of bad sports commentary, sorry for going off piste but this sketch nails it. There are a series of them online, but I love this one when they turn speculating what might be going through the competitor's minds. Shame they can't spell Campagnolo though Wink

Yes, ummm, sorry about that. Wink  Very Happy
Great to see our George getting his brace and putting yet another batch of overly critical, lazy arsed journo's back in their box.
He's taken some right stick in the past fornight. Incredible for someone who has scored 10 tries in his last 10 6N games.
Becky has also said a few words, having been asked about "the leak", but on that, I'm staying strictly no comment, here, nowadays.

In the meantime, it's all very tranquillo still. The problem with sticking a single large lump at the end of a gently rolling course.
Great weather though, this year.

That was a nasty looking spill for the Katusha rider although he seemed to have avoided a worse collision with the crash barrier.
