Of course Movistar won't fall for that.
They'll go slow, let all the groups that fell back on the Cat. 1 catch up and panic one of the lower GC teams into doing some work.

Escapees now at 2'

The very unusual BOTD reeled in by Astana.
Obviously Lulu is going to launch and do his crazy descent.
Kathy beat me to him, today.

You say obviously, but Tinkoff did naff all yesterday after dragging the peloton along at a high speed for a long distance.

Bennett and Zeits give chase.
Zeits doesn't look good enough.

I think Lulu is in there.

Orica, as so often, win a reduced sprint.
Keukeleire (sp) with a comfortable gap.

So, Keukelaire wins the underwhelming sprint that ends another underwhelming stage.
At least Kirby provided a good laugh, calling Movistar the winners.

I did that on Monday - I thought Chaves and Yates was a duo of Movistar riders at first glance. But I'm not paid to know the difference.

I did think on stage 3 when Ruben Fernandez, valverde, quintana and Chavez had got free that the orica jersey looked extremely similar to the movistar

Maybe we didn't notice it in July as as Adam Yates was in the white jersey :d

Did Kirby try to guess which movistar rider it was?

No.
The big difference is in the green on the helmets. OBE is much brighter.

Wasn't that awful?
Saving it all for tomorrow's Queen stage I suppose.
It didn't help that they removed the 2 final climbs from the finish.
Then, they would have had to race.

Just a head's up that the whole stage will be televised live tomorrow, from 11am.

Off topic. I just came across this. Painful but could have been far worse when you see the last second of the video.

Rolling out in beautiful weather.
A whole day in the Pyrenees. Nice.
All we need now is some actual racing.

Huge break has made it, (41) including Dani Moreno and Ruben Fernandez for Movistar.
For their lethargy, Sky win the right to have to pull the bunch all day.

I got in from an airport pick-up and was trying to make sense of the on screen graphics telling me I was looking at the break when it seemed I was looking at the peloton Shocked
