Thanks for these. I had smaller versions of some of it ready to go and I think I'll edit down the size of these a bit as I have a very big screen and I'm still having stuff getting lost off the side Smile

I was going to pm you about that.
The stage 5 run in was enormous.
I ended up having to save it.
The problem is that the Le Tour website's pics are rather small.
Trim away.

Right, I've washed them at 90°C so hopefully more manageable but still legible on most devices.

Powerful looking group of 9 off the front.
I think our picks are looking a bit less likely.

Code:
Cyril Gautier     (AG2R-La Mondiale)
Serge Pauwels     (Dimension Data)
Rafal Majka       (Tinkoff)
Andriy Grivko     (Astana)
Bartosz Huzarski  (Bora-Argon 18)
Thomas De Gendt   (Lotto Soudal)
Greg Van Avermaet (BMC)
Romain Sicard     (Direct Energie)
Florian Vachon    (Fortuneo-Vital Concept)

Majka once again riding for Majka.
Should Contador require his services at a later date, I predict another sudden radio failure.

GVA, TDG and AG have broken away from their former compatriots.

That's a bit harsh on Majka.
Presumably it is Tinkoff tactic to make others do some work after two very long days.
The collective "they" won't want to let some of those riders take 10+ minutes.

Stannard leading Tinkoff as the gap now passes the 11 minute mark.

So it is 3 v 1 at the moment.
100 km or so to go.

Tinkoff seem quite happy with all the Sky help.
Stannard swaps to Rowe.
85kms left, 10 kms until they hit bottom and the gap in excess of 12 minutes.

Gap at 14', 70 km to go.
The other 6 are 2'30" down on the leaders.
A long 20km drag to start of the next Cat. 3 now.

FP time.
I'll stick my neck out and say that Valverde won't be wearing Yellow tomorrow.

GVA looking likely to have a number of minutes lead at the end of today.
Movistar send only one rider to the front, to try and wake Sky up.
But, with 60kms to go, the lead remains at a full quarter of an hour.

It looked like a real mistake to let Majka get so much time, but a quick check of the standings, he is currently 181st @ 17 mins.. so there is no danger from that front group, other than giving someone the jersey until at least the Pyranees.

We could be set for a repeat of when TV was heroically in yellow for all those days.

Does GVA have any annoying mannerisms to bring out when the TV cameras are spotted?

Wow, Salers really is as pretty as a picture.

I seriously thought about GVA as FP today - honest guv.  Tommy de Gendt in polka dot tonight?

38 km to go.
11'30" the gap.
You would think TDG is the best climber of the three.
But there are two tricky descents as well.
