Dumoulin out of the top 10 altogether, but he may well reclaim the Maglia Rosa, tomorrow.
Depends on what the problem was and how good a ITT the likes of Zakarin, Valverde or maybe even Uran can produce.
Still not sure where Nibali is on the form graph.

I don't think Nibali's form is there yet. He seems unhappy to me so might come unstuck a bit tomorrow.

Cycling news report puts them down at 55 minutes behind brambilla while fourth last ji cheng was 24 minutes down.

If the cycling news report is right, there has to be something else to it that those three finished 31 minutes behind anyone else and 34 minutes behind fifth last

Nice win, but I can't say the stage lit me up much, especially since it seems rather difficult to get a decent quality feed.  Unless, of course, I paid for BeIn.  I was hoping Nibali would attack, but maybe he is not quite ready.  Then again, none of them seem quite ready to make a decent spectacle.  They must be waiting for the right moment.

That was flat out for last 25-30km... What point to attack if piti was already setting a pace uncomfortable enough to make selection. Nibs and a couple others helped on the descent / roll into finish

Great stage!! Not quite as epic as the sterraro stage Evans vs Basso from a few years ago - was that 2008/2009/2010?? Cant remember - but the one which revealed Nibs as a future contender

'Twas a good stage alright Boogie, but I wouldn't put it anywhere near the league of the 2010 stage, which was properly epic.  That Giro was easily the best GT in recent years, because as good as the Strade Bianche stage was, the action in Aquila, and the Zoncolan and  Mortirolo stages equalled it.

This Giro has a way to go yet to reach that standard, but we will know a lot more tomorrow...

I've not had need to try this for the Giro, but have you tried it?
