Nice game this.  You pick your team, and then sit back and watch the complex indecipherable scoring system work.   You get lucky or you don't.

OK, I admit it.  I was having such fun doing teams that I did two this time.  The real one is Team Occitan, the other one is Team Alter.  Sorry about that, but one has Contador and Porte and the other does not.  I didn't mean to cheat or anything, just got carried away.

Morally speaking, only Team Occitan counts as my real team.

Team Alter and Team Occitan are entered.  Thanks for the reminder.

Having "cheated a bit" and entered the two teams, no reason anyone else should not.  I have two email addresses, so I just used the other one.  Quite different teams.  Not sure which will even do the best job of raking in the points.

They aren't showing up in the JC league, as far as I can see.
Are you sure you used the right code?

I fancy entering 2 teams, because this time I'm finding it so hard to get anywhere near a team I have confidence in.
Did you use 2 e mails or were you just able to go with just the one, FF?

Now, he's gone and done a game for the flipping AToC.
A team for California rather picks itself, unlike the Italian job.

OK, I forgot to "confirm" the entries, they are both there now.

I entered one team with my normal email address.  But I also have a backup Gmail address that I use in certain circumstances.  I entered another team with that address, so I can only assume they only care about addresses.  So try it with another address.

I did and now have my second team, which I drew up in 5 minutes.
It looks better than the team that took me two days! Embarassed
Not one duplicate, either.

Jolly good.  I think the more teams there are in a league the more generally interesting it is.

In that trivial way that these games are interesting, to be sure.  I love to spend time on them, and then when I get too involved I realise I am spending a lot of time on something that is not that important.  Even if I would like to win and beat you all.

I don't know about all this two team carry on Laughing

You lot would have elected both Milibands to lead Labour and waited to see which one got on best Wink

I am suffering from Team Fatigue. One is enough and I've skipped ToC. Was debating Gilbert for Velogames and had expected to be back from garden centre for final decision on Saturday. So is he going for green (which was my inkling) and chasing points at the intermediate, or seconds and pink? At least I put him in Noel's team.

Tag team Milibands, sounds like a great spectacle.  Spruce up the news a bit.

As for two teams, the fun of these games, the deep fun, is picking the team.  But you are right, there is something faintly extra sily about having two teams or three.

For the Tour I am not even going to bother with a team of guys worth two points or less.  But I will go for one that has only French guys, they did well last year.  And then a couple of others with two or the big favourites in each one.  Already looking forward to it.

Can it be the case that two in the group, FF and Huw, are doing better with their "second team" than with their first.  At least at this point.  Amusing I would say.

Second teams of Huw and FF still doing stunningly and overwhelmingly better than first teams.

We should do interviews to find out why.

I guess it is over.  Congrats to Huw for topping our wee table.  And I think that commiserations are also in order for finishing as Lanterne Rouge (assuming Mellow V is Huw).

I think the two team experiment was a mixed bag really.  But Huw seems to have taken to extremes.

See you all on the Tour.
