Igor 40sec behind the favourites.  If Chavanel can hang on to the peloton he will take the GC today.

Fugalsong might be good value now for the overall...he's over 100-1 odds and proved to be pretty solid in the mountains in France...

Igor 2'44" down on leader Mimosa.  But Nieve came in with the favourites.  What happened to Nico Roche?  Looks like he lost a fair amount!

No chance. Top 10 at best.

It is a shame Kruiswijk somehow lost time yesterday, otherwise he'd be quite comfortably sitting same time as Mollema and a double-barrelled dutch assault in the mountains can begin.

Both looked comfortable today. I'm hoping one can hang tough with the climbers on angliru and TT safely enough to a podium. They have potentially got the legs if they match it with good tactics (not counting todays flogging the whole team in the valley to the foot of the S. Nevada!)

Anton's only about 90 seconds down on Nibs... that is recoverable on a MTF... but i guess it requires some form too, what wasn't so evident today.

Playing catch up but saw the last 8pm today. Seemed like a non-event apart from Anton losing time. My man nibs is well placed even after tomorrow's stage.

Yep. He will only lose time from now on. No more TT gifts.
