Appears to be fixed as far as I can tell now.

The benefactor is actually benefactors. A different member has stepped up each year to do this for us all. Thanks to all of you that have done this!

I'll add my thanks to this year's benefactor and to those who have done so in the past, it does make a difference, a big difference

I had picked up on the ads disappearing about a week or two ago and had meant to ask. I wasn't aware of the latest, as I have been fairly distracted with moving house etc. I extend my thanks also. Very appreciated.

Right then, I'm back looking forward to seeing thngs and catching up in real time. Unless something major happens that'll be my last trip away unfortunately, certainly not my choice.

Anyway, I want to say a big thank you to Berck and Biosphere for holding the fort for much of the last couple of years.... it's good that we're still here and folk still post.

thanks chaps

You're welcome! No problem on my part, but I think I have to pass most of those thanks to Bio. I've also been traveling a lot for work over the past year or so. It's been particularly bad since last summer, and not getting much better for the next year either.

It is good we are all still here! Smile

I am on another forum where there is a feature I have used once.  I can't find it as a feature on our forum.  Am I missing something?

The feature is that if there happens to be anyone on the forum who you really don't want to read, for whatever reason, you can put them on a list and their post never appears.  Although you can click and read it if you must.

Can we do that?

Ignore function... it is available already...

if you click on a user profile (link is on any post from that user)... there is a link called "Ignore User".. clicking will mean their posts disappear from forum when logged in under your username.

Unfortunately it's not bulletproof - if the person gets quoted you'll still see it.

I don't think it ever actually worked though.

You said it would not work, and sure enough you were right.  The guy is still visible.  Maybe there is some magic powder?

Actually it was not you who said it would not work, but still.  It didn't work.
