Would be awesome to see some cobbles in the race once again.

Only one ITT ... right at the end.  That's more like it!

Could be an awesome Etape du Tour next year!

Thought one of the Tourmalet stages was a mountain TT?

Rumour.

J'ai confirmation de source officielle que l'Etape du tour Mondovelo se courra entre Pau et le Col du tourmalet le dimanche 18 juillet.
Le 2eme jour de repos serait donc le 18 juillet.

Awesome prospect FF!!

Kathy, there was speculation of a Tourmalet ITT, but not according to the latest link from Billgull's.

Looks pretty blah to me. Especially the early mountains. Stand by for the Tour de Tedium.

They are more likely to be damp squid days though with no action until the last 500 metres.

If you want exciting racing then don't bother with the TDF

Well by this time tomorrow we will know

your stage 17 will be useless again as they will have regrouped on the flat run to PAU.
Finish too far from the mountains and another pharmstrong control day.

Prudhomme coming straight through Northen France as quick as is possible and I hope tomorrow we see at least another stage up North.

Be Lucky....Remember Eurosport a 11 am London Time (BST for a couple of weeks more)

I doubt it Mr S.  Only about 6 miles flat and I don't see LA getting back with the leaders if he gets detatched going over Peyresourde, Aspin, Tourmalet, Soulor & Aubisque.

I thought more like 24/25 miles following the river and I'm sure I've seen this before.  (I had trouble getting Martin Earley from my mind as it's usually a Start Town)

WE all thought this year the Andora climb would sort things out and what did we get "How Dare you attack your team mates when we said this morning we would all ride TEMPO"....bollox, and good on yer AC. ! !
So my meaning about your possible stage 17 could be the big stick and a Simeoni type of control. ???

I'll just be ecstatic if there's no triple-T's to skew the GC again.
