The article is about transfer. I reckoned he's going to transfer to Mauro-Gianetti's Team Scott-American Beef? Maybe I got it wrong...and that's his present team? |
That is his present team. That was the name last year. It's now called Fuji-Servetto and Gianetti is still the DS.

COBO - Caisse d'Epargne?
In spite of Gianetti's claim that Cobo will be the leader of his team, Caisse d'Epargne are interested by the arrival of the ex-team mate of Ricco and Peipoli.
Oscar Perreiro - Quickstep?
Negotiations between Perreiro and Xacobeo-Galicia fell out. Pereiro announced he is talking with QS. " I don't deny we are in contact. QS is a team I like very much and i hope we shall come to an agreement."

Thanks for that, Kathy.
I read the rumour, but didn't want to post another falsy.

| So with the Cobo deal, would one be able to say that it is getting a little less murky for Contador, and it might well be a fair bit more likely that, if Contador can get out of his contract (with or without the help of the UCI) and drag one or two other guys with him from Astana, that Alberto will be with Caisse in the Tour 2010? Or is it still murky and my guess is way off? What do you reckon. I have always thought he would end up at Caisse, because they are good and they are Spanish. |

Tony Cruz is leaving BMC and signing with Rock...as is Landis. Looks like Fred Rodriguez, Victor Hugo Pena, Ivan Dominguez and Oscar Sevilla are back as well.
What I found interesting is that Rock will not be registered in US....but will be a Mexican team |

Perhaps they'll sign Rasmussen as well. He likes Mexico, doesn't he? _________________ "You can't win races with passion alone."

He wouldn't feel out of place there, that's for sure.
It's all gone a bit quiet, especially on the transfer front. |

i wonder if the us cycling federation have stricter team guidelines ten the mexican?
other reason
- for continental licenses, a governing body can only issue so many. that's why some italian teams register in ireland and switzerland
- last year, rock had to pay a deposit upfront to the us cycling federation. to get this, they had accepted an appearance fee from the ruta san luis in argentina, paid their license fee then didn't show up for the race _________________ Hi |

From l'Equipe today.
Rasmussen says he is signing for a European team for next season, not named yet.
Intxausti is reported as going to Euskaltel again. First he was, then he wasn't....... _________________ "You can't win races with passion alone."

Aurelien Clerc signed by BMC.
Sky's roster is almost complete, but it isn't worth posting. |

Six new signings for Footon-Servetto, including a young Brit, Tom Faiers.

David McCann signs for Harold from Neighbours team, Jelly Belly
Deignan's got his contract extended with cervelo for 2 more years
one of the weirdest phone calls i got once was from my brother colin. he was wondering who was harold's nemesis in neighbours. "err colin. harold doesn't really have any enemies" "who's the other old guy" "that's lou, colin. harold and him are best friends"
too much information?
