After the dynamic duo, its a bit of a yawn waiting for the 100 domestiques to get out of the way, before the big boys appear.
Weather seems to be improving all of the time, which means nobody should be penalised with wet ones.....

Off goes Danny Pate. I'd love to see him win a stage.
Yukiya Arashiro looks very young.
Bruseghin's bike is sexy.
Cav just took off. He looks very slow and heavy.
Frank Schleck goes!
btw, will Rasmussen get a lifetime ban? Or has the second rider from Rabo named in the dynEPO announcement simply tested positive for the first time? _________________ END THE MADNESS

I wonder how Zabriskie will do. Haven't heard much from him since he left CSC. _________________ END THE MADNESS

Haematocrit George is off, as is Dave Zee.
Is it just me, or is he starting to look like Tommy V's bro?
Kreuziger! Now we shall see....
Frank Schleck? Well, at least he didn't crash. |

Kloeden did podium once at the Tour, didn't he?
Armstrong's time not too far off the leaders. Scary.

Yikes! I'm afraid for him. Under all that pressure to prove himself on the first day, slippery rear wheels, lots of turns... is he good on this type of course?
Is Sastre wearing yellow today?
