AFAIK they put them on and film the links for the American audiences and take them off again. Is all sports coverage in the US that formal?

I haven't seen them in 4 years, I was expecting Versus polo shirts or Versus denim.

I see they still use the Oscar Meyer start ramp. I heard they were getting a new one this year.

Eurosport's Lance love fest off, France 2 on.
Loved Big Mag's and Bri Smith trashing Pharmstrong's ridiculous odds.
Might dark out there. Conta already getting the pointy end of the Nike Bikey shaft.

Very strange to see Armstrong in the opening TT of the Tour.  Weird.  He should have stayed retired.  Looks like he's having pedal problems.  Jesus, Versus is making this the Lance show and it is ridiculously OTT.  When he comes in 37th in the TT today maybe they'll shut up.  That is a SICK rear wheel.  His hip rotation is excellent.  Still has the scar on his left elbow from that 2003 crash with Mayo and the musette.

Show the other riders!  ASO is now complicit in the whole Armstrong myth.  It's about the money.

The audio is pretty good, I can hear that solid wheel rumble you get on the TT bikes

"Alberto's the leader of the team for now..." he said in the interview with Andreu this morning.

Telling.

Not uber impressed with Yawnstrong's split. 22" on Monfort isn't huge.
French coverage is shiite. All the way around, nobody off the start, nobody at the finish.
Seems they've sold out completely.

Harmon's first gaff? 10 minutes. Hinault/LeMond, in 1987, except nobody told Mr Roche.

He almost just dumped his bike.  The winner will be sub-20.  Unless it rains.

Tony Martin zipping past another rider!  A LOT of wobbly rear wheels today!

Right, we've got that over and done with now.  He's not going to win this TT or the Tour.  Now can we watch the race in peace!

Contador should be about a minute - minute and a half up on Armstrong's time at the finish, no?

And Frankie Andreu was interviewing Armstrong before the start. What am I missing?
