Bjarne Riis ? |
The statute of limitations had passed when he confessed, so his case is irrelevant. We're talking active riders here, and we're talking present-day cycling. Riis didn't out Basso at CSC, or any of the others. _________________ END THE MADNESS

For whatever reason his attitude post Puerto to Basso was notably different to Bruyneel's. I'm willing to bet that Riis would not have Kloeden on his Tour roster this year. |

It was meant as a joke! Sorry should've put a on at the end.
But on a serious point, if you're going to ask a question then you should lay down the rules first - active riders, present-day cycling....why not add that they only confessed when they thought someone was about to drop them in it as an exclusion as well.
So that'd rule Eric Zabel out as well. _________________ "I trust no-body, not even myself" |

Jerome Chiotti is the guy you are looking for. He won the world MTB title in 1996. In 2000 he admitted to doping with EPO to win the world championship because he didn't feel right about it. He gave the jersey and medal to second place rider Thomas Frischknecht. |

I have been informed by a colleague who works with some of the F1 teams during the year that this is resolved but they are waiting until Silverstone to make the big news public. A major British company are involved and not just tricky dicky branson...... |
Looks like it's the other way around
