Hi all!

Many of you have been wondering what has happen, and why my lack of interest in the forum etc...

First of all I need to apologize to all of you for this, but the reason of my absence is pretty simple.

Just at the beginning of coming to live in Barcelona I did have a road accident. I was ran over by a car while I was coming back from work cycling.
It has been around 6 months since the accident and I am still recovering, although it is nearly the end of it.

I had a broken nose, right leg, several teeth, and nearly my back, but still alive.

This hasnīt taken my hunger for cycling in any possible way, as soon as I get the green light I will jump on the bike again.

But for this not to happen again, the forum thing, (i donīt know if people have kept posting or not, etc..) I would like a couple of volunteers to take care of it (spams, members etc..)

Cheers !

Berg

I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say it's great to hear from you Berg - and to learn you are still with us, in every sense.  Welcome back and best wishes to you.

thanks Maffy!

Nice to meet you too!!!

Well, if everything goes as planned, I may be able to use the turbo trainer in a couple of weeks!!! Yuhu!!! But fingers crossed!!!

The positive thing is that the damaged bike was the Mountain one and not the road one!! I will get a new one of the insurance!

A great relief that you are alive......and that you are alive!
Congratulations on out-doing Bart, although it sounds pretty painful.
Those Spanish drivers, eh?
Nice to get the boss back. Very Happy

Glad to hear you're OK, Berg.

Sounds like you're much better than you were - but I'll wish you a speedy recovery anyway.

Take care when you get back on the bike.

I second all of that!  We were worried about you.  Hope you get to full strength and berg-ness soon.  The place is going strong--a testament to you.  Welcome back.  I broke 5 ribs and tore a back muscle this summer.  I can only imagine your pain.

hallelujah - they can't kill the Berg Wink so glad to hear you're on the road to recovery and looking forward to your pearls of wisdom. And thanks as ever for the magical playground that is justcycling - don't know if you've caught up with everything yet but you know you created a monster - in a good way Wink
