Going to watch the last few days of Portugal, on RTPi.
4 hours live, so can't be bad.
The final stage won by Cobo, last year, was great....

ahh yes, the all-singing all-dancing wonderful volta a portugal. wonderful, except for all the singing and all the dancing. don't bother turning on until 1600bst. bit lumpy at the end today, but saturday looks awesome. lampre worked hard yesterday, and hector guerra carried bottles for liberty. they did the cobo hill from last year on sunday and you missed it. was still a pretty hill. sinkewitz is going well.

aargh, I forgotten.
The Volta: The TDF morning show on Pot Belge.
Still, we had two hours worth. Cunego dropped again, by all those OP "third men".

Did they have any L'Ain coverage on that link above, M?

Should be a lot of live racing from Italy, next week......

italian races, eh...

trittico lombardo, all cest
18th tre valli varesine 1545-1810 raisportpiu
19th coppa agostoni 1630-1715 raitre or 1725-1810 raisportpiu
20th coppa bernocchi 1630-1715 raitre or 1720-1810 raisportpiu

assume also the trofeo melinda on the 22nd

oddly enough, there doesn't seem to be any eneco on es. it's on rtbfsat though. es seem to have late night ireland highlights. earlier/longer on itv4.

http://www.tourdulimousin.com/ 18-21aug highlights should be in the local france3 news.

big day at the volta.

A big day at the Volta. Twas indeed. Haven't watched it yet, but I know that final 28kms took well over an hour. Some climb.
Guess who's first race back, is the Coppa Agostoni, after being Giro CERA'd?
Yes, The Little Princess is back, after just a year, thanks to being a CONI supergrass.

Huw, are they ever going to show the race? I'm watching RTPI with the Volta coverage supposed to be live, but it's all singing, dancing and talking...  Confused

So in about 30 mins maybe. ??

A pro tour and former world cup and have I missed some postings. ?????

Be Lucky.....and the germans appear to be giving it a miss also.

thanks for the link, vendeeu. welcome.

was a hella-hill yesterday. about 1h20m. nice fightback from blanco after his mechanical, and nice random waterbottle fight that didn't matter in the end for the kom. i'm going to miss the de-de-de-da, de-de-da-diddly-da randomly inserted theme music from the volta. it might take a while for it to go away. notice blonde presenter lady saved the posh purple top until there were no fountains/swimming pools/randomly placed bags of water. was rooting for the police attack dog vs lineker-alike gentleman presenter. go guerra and blanco for cobblestone. like i care.

decent ride by beardy barbosa.

Maffy: Any Tre Valli highlights? I love this race, yet contrived to miss it, yesterday. Embarassed

there's this from a handily placed mobile

Link

in the light of italian telly being a bit runny, jumpy and throwy, er, mumble.

nasty crash at the eneco. koldo's gone a bit browne recently. santambrogio's got some nice form.

looks to be plouay 23rd 1525 on vendeeu's link

trofeo melinda 22nd 1720-1810 piu or 1715-1745 tre

Well, I watched Pitou Charente, for what it was worth.
5 minutes of recording, reporter "tickering" and the final straight, where Casper beat Haussler.....the end.

FYI American viewers, if it hasn't been posted already.

Universal Sports will be having the Vuelta live on line and then re-runs on later in the day on TV. They were the same folks that did the Gir

someone should tell Universal Sports to stop putting the stage winners name up on the right side of the screen when you want to watch the coverage after work as live!!

If you have Sky then TVEi is available under international stations channel 795 if you want to watch the Vuelta without having to endure Harmon.
