I don't normally look at El Pais, because I find their website rather awkward, can never find what I'm looking for. Rumours abound locally about Luis León, much more than about Valverde

Apparantly there was a Tour de France winner linked too but the name has been removed.

Yes, I've just seen that. Apparently the TDF winner sacked Losa when Dueñas tested positive, and told him he hadn't taken anything he'd given him. Losa was also the doctor of Maribel Moreno who was sent home from the Olympics last year.

Yes, I was thinking OP - can't think Berto would be stupid enough to deal with a doc who was already under suspicion. And there's really no-one else it could be.

The positives of Nozal, Guerra and Ribeiro have been confirmed by the UCI. Ribeiro (who is only about 21 I believe), said that he didn't know what the team doctors were injecting into him!

if people were injecting me with something, i'd personally like to know what it was
at least he's admitted the doctors were injecting him with something

Un médecin suspendu 10 ans
Le médecin espagnol Marcos Maynar de l'équipe cycliste LA-MSS, exclue des compétitions en 2008 pour dopage, a été suspendu pour dix ans, a annoncé la Fédération portugaise ce mercredi. Le conseil de discipline de la Fédération l'a condamné «à une peine de suspension de toute activité médico-sportive pour avoir prescrit et ou fourni des substances prohibées et masquantes à certains cyclistes de l'équipe LA-MSS pendant la saison 2008».
En outre, Pedro Cardoso, Alfonso Azevedo, Rogério Batista et Claudio Faria, ont également été suspendus pour des périodes allant de un an et deux mois à deux ans. Le directeur sportif Manuel Zeferino a quant à lui été condamné à payer une amende de 2.800 euros. La fédération rappelle en outre que Joao Cabreira, champion du Portugal 2008 de cyclisme suspendu deux ans pour dopage en février dernier, avait été blanchi comme annoncé précédemment, ainsi que le président de l'équipe Luis Fernando d'Almeida et le coureur Tiago Silva.
