I agree. This is the same week when 3 professional wrestlers died before the age of 45. Although we talk about cycling having doping problems at least it isn't being swept under the carpet as it is in sports like rugby. The problem is for as long as it is guys on the fringes dying then no one will take any notice. |

Very sad news in both cases.
It appears that Leon Walker collapsed after being tackled so it could be anyone of a number of reasons (I guess unfortunately doping could be one of them). Adam Watene was a reasonably well known player as an international (albeit for the Cook Islands) and one of Wakefields key players, although even top sportsmen being affected doesn't necessairly mean action will be taken just look at Tom Simpson. |
