Time to say thanks, Jackov. A lot of work went to this and is very useful.
A lot have looked, it seems.
A big hand to those who deliver the stage by stage threads too and, of course Kathy, for her FP efforts.
Having said that, I now have sore eyes, looking for a noticeable, first week climb.
Could be a very long week.....

A blast up Mont Theux will make stage 4 interesting, if anyone's prepared to put it on the line. It's where Indurain stamped his authority on the 1995 Tour after a pedestrian prologue.
Either way, GTs are for everyone, not just the GC men. It makes sense for the Vuelta to squeeze the sprint stages in early when the sprinter are actually in attendance. The first week is a chance for others to shine.

What a wonderful parcours, particularly 8, 12, 13, and 14. The latter 3 being mountain top finishes. Far better than the 'racing crumbs' we got tossed to us in the TDF.
This is going to be a great race I think.
