Training on rollersAnyone training or has in the past trained on rollers?
Is there any benefit using both rollers and turbo during the winter and what would constitute a good programme?

rollers will smoothen out your pedal stroke, and keep the legs supple, but its not a workout.. better you try running, swimming, heavy squats... thats what i did last winter and i kicked my 30 freinds ass with little to no training... speed...

+1 on the squats and leg press
Rollers are a great training tool for pedaling, I agree with TT. Don't kill yourself Bartali.

As Cape says be careful on those rollers Bartali, I've seen some nasty results of people coming off them down at the Velodrome.

Rollers are the best.
Especially if you do some interval training on them they are definatly a great workout.
