Tour Route 2010Anyone remember where one can find the site which collects speculations about the route for next year's Tour. Was it Huw who knew? Run by some Dutch or Belgian guy?

Rumour: Tourmalet from both sides on different stages including a ITT
September 22 update: New update from Paddy Sweeney of Velo Peloton Vacances cyclisme. "Hi Steve. I had heard a rumour 3 times in the last week, it seemed a bit far fetched to be honest but in the last few days I have heard it from a source at the top of pro cycling. But it is this, the tour will climb Col de Tourmalet from both sides. The east on the stage from Luchon to Col d’Aubisque but also a ITT from Luz to the summit. Sounds mad I know but It is a very good source."
Revised last week.
17 July: Rodez - Revel
18 July: Revel - Luchon
19 July: Rest Day
20 July: Bagnéres de Luchon - Col de Aubisque
21 July: Tourmalet ITT
22 July: Pau - Arette
23 July: Pau - Bordeaux
24 July: Bordeaux ITT
25 July: Paris

I on't often swear on here but that would be fucking amazing. Bet the Texas trailer trash is on the phone to Prudhomme right now warning him not to even think about it....

I'll bet, as usual Paris.thover gets the closest, but nobody will peg it.
I can't see this 4 Pyreneean MTF's, quite frankly.

The Tourmalet.
Any reason they can't finish on the downhill at La Mongie?
Now that would be hot stuff!

Well the rumour is that they want to follow the 1910 route through the pyrenees .....

Interesting if they follow the 1910 route, although not that it ties in, but I think next year is actually the 100th edition of the Tour.

wikipedia says there's been 96 so far
wikipedia also says red haired irish people have no souls

I've always tried to take wiki with a pinch of salt, although sometimes I forget, but I'm sure I read/heard somewhere that it's the 100th edition, but can't find anything even on letour.fr to confirm.

First Tour was 1903, ten were missed during the World Wars. The 100th running will be 2012.
