Tour of California: Sun 10th - Sun 17th May 2015

Just a reminder that FPs for this are here

http://justcycling.myfastforum.org/about5241.html

I have added the start list to the first post over there (apologies for forgetting), but most seem to be doing fine without anyway.

Just about 24 hours from now to get the first picks in. Stage starts at 10:50 local time which is 20:50 CEST (assuming they don't change their clocks tonight).

Sorry. I think looked at my watch wrong or something last night. Picks in by 19:50 CEST please. Ta.

Almost thought I should make him my GC guy.  What's with him anyway?

The best picture I watch all year, on my computer.  HD quality.  Bless the yanks and their technology available to all.

Yet the worst HD pictures all year on tv from Eurosport.
Blurry faces throughout. Go figure.

Only ever going to be one winner of that stage in a one sprinter race.

And about the most dull, inane commentary from Quigley and Smith.  Snoooozefest...

Anyone know what happened to my FP for the GC, Barguil?

And to think I was contemplating Talansky, now both of them seem totally out of it for one reason or another.

A bad fall in the last 10km.
I think there was a shot of him back on the bike with only the left leg clipped in.
gerry12ie

Come on, son!!!

Two very smart wins today by young riders, although I though Skujins (sp?) was going to die on the bike in the last few kms.

Good win, he looks the part.

A far more interesting stage last night, I thought, although why Sky left the chase so late, I know not.
Tinkoff, yes, but Sky?

The Tour of California's stage 6 time trial, originally scheduled for Friday in Big Bear Lake, has been moved to Santa Clarita due to forecasts for snow and cold temperatures, race organisers announced late Wednesday evening.

Sagan is still coughing. What an effort.
There will be fun and games for the sprint bonuses tomorrow.

interesting stage, well stuck out by sagan to only lose 47 seconds and needs third tomorrow

how much will that effort have taken out of him is a question.

All the Etixx attempts to get a break away have failed.
So at the intermediate sprint Cav narrowly beats Sagan.
Alaphillippe takes third.
3-2-1.
I'm not sure who would have been ahead had Sagan gained two seconds, but since he only gained one it is now a moot point.
So he needs to finish on the podium and beat Alaphillippe, or gap Alaphillippe. I think the Frenchman has the harder job. I wonder if Etixx have any plans.

Well, from the overhead Sagan looked only 4th.
