No - but you'd sell it and buy a bamboo job with the proceeds! I'd have one of these if there was a rich benefactor trawling the net for a lost cause......

It's true I am completely dazzled by that bamboo bike that bb actually had the privilege of seeing firsthand.
I will be dazzled by Bartali's Parlee, too, hopefully. And I look forward to meeting Bartali and headwind and the rest of you one day and going for a ride. I want to do Hadrian's Wall and l'Etape one day soon...

Hi Paperman -I'm having two bikes built at the moment (had to put all these months in plaster to good use). Race bike is a Parlee Z3 which I will pick up on saturday. But I'm also building up a Colnago fixed gear in the Saronni colours like the one above. I think its PR82? getting lots of stuff of ebay!

Excellent...One of the guys in my club has a beauty its not fixed or anything. An old colnago with lots of chrome, nice forks on it. Wacky paint job. Its a beauty. Got me thinking of one but I think the frame alone is around to 1000 euro mark...all steel, dont think so. Not with some of the offers on now.
Don't forget pics of the Parlee and its friend the colnago on your bike thread when they're all done.

Good god no! Do you take me for a heathen!
Mine's a colnago singlespeed frame with track ends. It's in the special edition Saronni colours, but doesn't have the chrome lugs that the Master X sports.

Ah, see, you scared me there. I thought all sanity left with me gone.
