Sheep's modest rideI finally got round to taking some pics while I was out last evening
4 kilometers from home - loads of rain here a week ago so loads of flowers everywhere.
My "training hill"! 7 kilometers long, really steep for the last 3. Still names of riders on the road after a local race a couple of years back.
nearly at the top. Hazy today otherwise the sea would be visible on the left.
"on the to" single track road. Very wild and lonely. I love it up here - didn't see a single vehicle for 15 k's. Head wind for the rest of the ride now.
Only thing in this valley is a goat farm
Heading back down to "civilisation". My trusty iron leaning against the sign post.
On the last leg of the loop now, can just see the sea on the right.
The last village I have to pass through before reaching mine. Vines almost fully in leaf now.
46k's ridden, back home and i'm going to murder a beer!
We have members spread all over the world - would love to see other's local rides. Headwind, Twiddler and now i've managed to do it - come on everyone - get your cameras out!

Absolutely beautiful. Can't compete with those views. Once I cash in my CC points I plan on getting a camera small enough to fit in my jersey pocket.

headwind, this is amazing - when I took the photo there was a woman walking in the field wearing a long dress and carrying a parasol, but I thought it would fuck up the composition, so I waited till she moved "off field".......

no crime sheep...not like there's a Monet born every minute!! Nevertheless, it seems life in Provence is doing you fine...am Im right on your location north of Avignon or so?
Im looking at going in with some friend to buy a house somewhere in Provence, or Belgium, or Italy...ugh...or Tuscany...

No, I'm at the wild, savage, primitive, untrendy end. Between Sète and Montpellier, in the Languedoc.
