REBUILDSAnyone doing any rebuilds? (Hetchins?) I'm interested in ANY kind of bike, not just the latest racing machinery worth thousands of dollars.
I've just stripped down and rebuilt this Peugeot Helium for my daughter-in-law. Nicely made bike, with all bearings readjusting perfectly - a sign of quality imo. Shame I couldn't get a front tyre to match the original on the back tho. Still, dead elegant bike, I reckon.

Forget your daughter-in-law sheep, get on that baby yourself.
Chicks in france are going to dig that ride.
Reminds me of the magnetic Fields song 'The Luckiest Guy on the Lower East Side' off 69 Love songs-truely great album.
But I'm the luckiest guy on the Lower East Side
cause I've got wheels and you want to go for a ride.
As for your question about re-builds, no idea here

It is a cool looking bike.
Fantastic album indeed.

That does look like a bohemian chick-magnet. Keep it!
Sadly shed space precludes any rebuilds for me at the moment (although I am hoping to move to a house with a garage one day)
