NEW BIKEI'm in the process of buying a new bike. French make, Vitus is the name - beautifully finished bikes. Just wondered if any of you had heard of this make and if so what do you think?

Hubby has one somewhere in the stable..............although he mostly rides bikes he has built himself.

Yes he did. I think they were the first, or one of the first, to build an all aly frame. It had lugs and the tubes were bonded in. Very elegant looking things.

BB, can you ask him what he thinks of it? And also what he knows of the make?

Sheep, as far as I do remember Vitus was huge at the early and mid 90īs, a lucky guy that rode for the local team had one, and I couldnīt take my eyes of it, beautiful!!!!!! go for it!!!

Very swish looking things from what I remember. Black tubes with Silver Al lugs ... only they wern't really lugs of course it being a composite frame ... but you know what I mean

looks good, pity it doesnt have the Cinelli stem anymore. I miss those old style stems
