My new wheelsDon't you think my new race wheels add something special to my old Trek? They're the old Zipp (Neuvation) rims with DT Swiss hubs (the good ones) and round spokes for the big guy at 204 lbs. today (and falling):

I see you took special care to get the wheels in a just so position for the photo.

They look great Cape. You just need a new Trek to go with those new wheels

Cape - what pedals are you riding. Can't quite make them out. Shimano SPD? Egg beaters?
Nice looking set up. Lovely wheels!
Saddle looks a touch nose up - is that how you like 'em? Is it a Stelle Italia SLX?

I didn't position the wheels or take the photos! The guy who re-built the wheels did, though...

I am getting the 2008 Trek Madone 6.9 frame and fork in white for just over $3000. I'm selling my fixie and the frame you see in this picture with the stock components that I have been keeping preserved in their original state... I'll probably get a thousand for the Trek and another thousand for the fixed gear, and I am writing a couple medicolegal reports right now for a trial that will earn me another $800, legal work I don't often do. That ought to do it.

They're blue stainless Speedplay Zeros.
The saddle has been nose up this past year. I'm going to flip my stem soon and will put the saddle level again. It's a Specialized Toupe 143mm non-gel. Best saddle I've ever ridden. Don't really feel it.

That is the plan. I am training, TT, believe me. The really hard stuff starts in two weeks.
