I always enjoyed watching Martin cooking etc and never got the impression he was anti-cycling (not that you'd necessarily find that out from a cooking show) but I get the impression that he was trying to do a "Clarkson" by being so controvertial. But at least he's apologised.

Same as you but watched a show the other week where he seemed intent on riling Hugh Fearnley-whathisface about chickens. Claimed he loved KFC...
