not really...I dont like the notion of no tape on top...and the lack of them in hte peleton says they cant be too woderful for all purpose riding.

I use the Modolo Curvissima KX and can tell you it is the only handlebar I will ever use again. They are absolutely awesome and I would recommend to anyone...esp with Campy levers. The drop and reach are perfect for riding in hte hooks (and close in the drops) ...thumb perfectly sits on the lever and index/middle finger can hit the brake lever shifter. It is flat on top and is grooved to get cables so they lay flat. Ave also put on fizik bar phat (also good). Its one piece of bike kit I own that comes with an unreserved recommendation.

Bartali

Looks a bit like the FSA K-sword. I know someone who has a similar bar and likes it - but they don't spend that long in the saddle.

I like my Schmolke TLO - not least because they are only 130g which means I can eat extra pie!

Here's a Q. I've only been riding a road bike for the past year and a half, and even before that test riding road bikes, I've always found it a bit of a reach to grab the levers. Could this be with 'ergo' bars? Anybody else have this issue?
Bartali

Dr W - Do you have small hands? Shimano or Campag levers?

Campag levers are better for small hands as they have a little adjuster mechanism.
Dr.Wierd

Thanks Bartali, I wear medium gloves and use Shimano 105 levers. Prob down the road campag's are in order.

I love the look of these but they cost almost half as much as what I paid for my bike Sad

I have the stock Bontrager Race Lite bars that came with my bike.

I like them, my only gripe is that the bar diameter is small relative to my hands (I have big hands).
