It is a completely different world watching the race from the support car, I was giving water bottles to the riders in the break, and I even had to change a wheel!!!! Fantastic experience!!!

nah, I only carried bottled water, and by strictly orders of the race director, the bottles had to be given sealed.
I have to say Crash, that I was very nervous for the rest of the race thinking what about if the wheel comes off and he crashes or something???? but it was fine!!!!
Spiuk was the biggest sponsor, as the race was in the town where the have their HQ, so when I went to see my friend on friday he invited me to go in the support car.
AS for doping, the gave me a serrano ham bagette, an apple, a banana and an orange, and plenty of water!!!

Yes, to hold tight when you are going down the col following the riders at 90km/h, I know what Collin McRae used to feel!!!!!!

Naspa will have a field day with this information....You'll never live it down...She saw Hincapie carrying bottles once and look now....Whatever you do, make sure you don't bust the 70kg barrier or you'll become a "Fat, bottle carrier" for life....
