Great summer breakfast when its too hot for cooking porridge

Make night before
just get about 4 handfuls of organic rolled oats and mix in a tub with 2 handfuls of coarse bran. Then add raisans, dried dates, apricots, almonds & walnuts and mix it all together. Pour milk just to the top and cover, leave in fridge over night and the next morning add some banana, blueberries & honey plus some more milk and youre all sorted.

You can make as much or as little as you like as it keeps for a few days in the fridge so i just make a big batch in a tub to do me 3-4 days.
Also you can add pretty much any fruit in there each morning to give you a bit of variety.

Try that organic "Whole Food" store place, whatever it's called. The chain--there's a bunch of them scattered around the city and 'burbs.

pancakes are the business. Great hangover food too.

I will say one thing for the Uk, the bacon is bloody great-particulary around the west country.

KRE, come down to Cape Cod for a ride and I'll make them for you. I make the "best pancakes in the world". Or at least so says my 4-year old. Laughing

Or you can use the linseed, alternatively, to polish your new hardwood furniture!

Fusilli, red pesto and haloumi with a pint mug of tea milk and honey. I know I shouldn't drink tea because it renders the iron in my meal insoluble - but it's one of life's little luxuries.

eggs are a pretty complete protein source, as are chicken, beef and fish....the only reason to take whey is if you cant stomach eating that amount of meat....also for me, whole foods work better....ive tried the whey powder milkshake approach, and the whole food, and whole food is much more enjoyable, and i seem to assimilate it better....but all these things are completely personal and theres nothing wrong with whey at all

as were talking bout supplements, what are your opinions on creatine...safe/unsafe, effective/ineffective, unneccesary???ive never heard anything good bout it from docsin the past...we have a few in our family...what do you think??
