4 km to go. Gilbert will get it!

In a sprint, Gilbert would likely win.

Gilbert!

I wonder if SS might complain about that sprint of Gilbert's

I find Firefox don't like Harmon and co, but IE is a lot happier. I couldn't watch Justin though, so I was limited to the audio.

Firefox obviously has a cock-block feature to go with ad-block

Obviously not, judging by the congratulating pat, but IMO he obviously could.
Technically no foul, but if a sprinter tried that; from one side of the road to the other. total block, but Samu was always going to struggle.
Must be a mark of the new, clean peloton, that Gilbert can drop all those GT climbers in the second hilliest classic.
Anyhow, he has effectively turned Lotto's disasterous season into a success.
That's it.
We can all turn off our computers for 4 months.

I can get ES audio using Firefox.
I thought Samu would get that one after the lead-out he got from Gilbert. He must have been cooked.

Anyone would think that some of Vino's finest has been accidentally sent in the post to Lotto.
New attacking Cuddles and super-climbing Gilbert...

Philippe Gilbert Trains on the Hilliest Classic Route as he lives next door to the Infamous La Redoute in Aywaille, Walloon

To be "Fair" to Evans, today he was the outstanding domestique and although I had him FP and then saw him pulling (what was that, say again) Pulling then I realised that Gilbert was their main man.
No wonder Philippe gave the man some Cuddles at the end.
I make that 4 Wins in 12 days for Philippe Gilbert.
-8th October - Coppa Sabatini
11th October - Paris - Tours
15th October - Giro Piemonte
17th October - Giro di Lombardia.
Be Lucky .....If you are looking in last km then I still say the Italians don't need the Frigging World Cup to Celebrate the close of the season.

I'll bet Monsieur Gilbert is just as upset as me, that the season is over.

I always hate today, It's a brilliant race no matter who wins but it marks the end of the racing season.......sad sad day.
Still, the track season is about to kick off, Hoy back on the boards, Becky trying to oust Veep as the quickest lady......might be more of a fun winter than we thought

What a fantastic weekend seeing the Tour of Lombardy. Great to watch the guys up at the Ghisallo.
Went to a bar in Bellagio afterwards and got talking to the barmaid (which I don't usually do as I just get my drink and read my book), she was from Belgium and when I mentioned about coming to Bellagio every year to see the ToL, she asked if I knew a cyclist called Tom Boonen!!!!!! Turns out she's his cousin!!!!!!!!!!
Then went into v. expensive shop at Malpensa airport and got talking to the shop assistant, mentioning the ToL and she asked if I knew Cadel Evans - thank goodness I bit my tongue and didn't launch into a diatribe about him as it turns out that she sings in a choir with an orchestra in Italy and her friend in the orchestra is Evans' wife!!!!!!!!
I'm still a bit shell shocked.

I'm a total techno muppet at the moment.
Anyone know how to attch a picture/photo to a post. I just can't see where it is. There an Img thingy (ooooh, there I go with all those hi tech terms) but I click on that and [Img] just gets put in my post and there's no link to attaching a file, I've done it before, but head is full of broken (Champagne) bottles since I started my new job and having to cope with commuting by train and not the usual 15 min cycle ride that I've been used to, after being out of work for a year - the joys of being a contractor and a lazy git as well (this is to do with not getting a job and not my lack of technical knowledge)/

Hit post reply. At the bottom of the box, just outside it you will see Attach File. Click on that and you will get an option to browse your PC to find the photo you want to display. Select your photo, click on Upload File, and the photo will be given a URL and appear in the body of your message.

This one's for Bartali - took it at the top of the Ghisallo climb this year. Didn't realise the street at the top was named after him.
Think I posted one a few years back of the bust of Baratli outside the Madonna del Ghisallo.

Here's one from a bit further away to give you more of an idea where it is - on a wall, at side of road, which borders the local graveyard!
