Happy Burns Supper back. Tonight, I have been mainly drinking Glen Livet, Talisker and Bunnahabhain although I did try a glass of the local Kirsch too  Smile

You must be rather sloshed, Bio! Laughing

I was going to go to a Burns Night party here, but they couldn't find any haggis - not that I would have eaten it anyway.  My Scots friends were a bit upset that I wouldn't (can't) drink whisky either, althouh they did lace the Clootie dumpling with something they didn't tell us about until afterwards!

I was pretty OK actually. The measures were modest, although I had a few extra staying up to watch the Italian coverage of the TDU and felt like I should join in when the camera kept cutting to tourists quaffing Barossa Smile

Haggis would not have gone down well with locals, so we played it safe with shortbread!

So there is an Italian equivalent of a Harmon drinking game?  Do you get to drink every time a commentator mentions how tired he is, or complains about the heat? Wink

Italians never complain about the heat. It's thinking about the cold that brings them out in a sweat!

In general, I think it's probably fair to say that the Italian commentators favour their own as much as Harmon ever does. If the camera cuts to an Italian rider, the commentator's voice rises in pitch quite a bit. Doubly so if there has been a 'caduta' (fall/crash)
