Anyone for Tennis???

I thought that the Men in White thread was about Wimbledon........how wrong was I????

Anyhoo, post your comments and thoughts on tennis here!

Saw the William's Sister's and the Andy Murray documentaries - both good.

Shocking defeat for Nadal as his return in the French Open looked so promising for him, but obviously clay and grass are very different surfaces. At least it increases the odds for Murray......

And everyone else.  Makes the fuss about Nadal's seeding moot too.

Federer must have been out of "Glow" after the French open.... ;0)

Here's a good "useless statistic"...

7 former world number 1s went out of Wimbledon yesterday:

Federer
Hewitt
Sharapova
Wozniacki
Azarenka
Ivanovic
Jankovic

Needless to say, this is a record for a Grand Slam.

Well done to Bartoli - she's just so funny to watch between points. Very disappointed for Lisicki, she's got a great game, but I think nerves got the better of her.

I only caught it in patches as there was a rather epic hurling match on but he won handy enough really so well done.  That's one monkey that long deserves to be off the back of British tennis.

At least it happened while Inverdale still had a job... Wink

Epic hurling match????????????? What??????? Was it 77 years since an Irish team won or what?  Wink

I feel as if it's a whole monkey off the back of Scotland as well.  Very Happy
