27 inch wheels

I'm trying to restore a 1980 Raleigh Mixte, 10 speed. The original had 27 1 1/8 alloy wheels

Anyone know of a supplier on the internet of such wheels plus tyres?

Unless you really want to be authentic, then I would suggest fitting 700c wheels and adjusting the brake shoes by about 4mm which should be possible.

These guys do stock 27" wheels and they are very reliable ..

Thanks. The original bike had 27 x 1 1/8 but the front one was stolen and replaced with a  27 x 1 1/4. It would be nice to keep the original design although the brakes seem to have been made to accommodate 700 wheels too, although the hubs may not be the usual modern type .....
