I  have mixed feelings when Djokovic shouts "Come on!" as he clenches his fists when he scores. Is this for Andy's ears or is this another misconstrued English expression like "Doping free?"  Confused

I rather like Raffa's "Vamos!" and Federer's "Da!"  Wink

70kmph, is it from this tournament that Federer has lost some while Nadal won some to become the number 1 on the 18th of August?

I think he won't be no. 1 for as long as Federer was though...(Sour me)  Wink

Maybe I'm just a cynical sod (comes from following cycling I guess), but did anyone else feel suspicious about Justine Henin's retirement? I don't have any evidence whatsoever to back thus up, but what if she had failed a doping control test, wouldn't it have been in the interest of the WTA to keep it quiet (after the Hengis case), and advise her to retire suddenly from all tennis?
Just a thought...

I thought it odd when she retired. It seemed very sudden, just when she'd got her life together and was on top, but there could be several different reasons why she chose to retire, but I found it very strange.....

It's probably more likely that with a bank balance on a par with the Gross National Product of many countries in the world, she woke up and realised the utter futility of continuing to hit tennis balls over a net. Very few people retire at #1, so to retire when she did was good timing.

As an aside, didn't Hingis test positive for cocaine or cannabis? (I always get the two mixed up.) Although on the banned list, this is not really indicative of a PED issue in tennis.

Down a break in the third when rain stopped play.

It's the same surface as they use in Cincinnati, so won't be that surprising if goes through to the final.

He was the junior champion there in 2004, so he's got good history.
