so with the road season over after basso's fine win in Japan, let's have some fun of sorts with this thread I have plagiarised from another forum that I am on

The idea is that you answer the question in the previous post and then ask your own question. then this goes on endlessly until everyone get's bored, hopefully not before Het Volk/Nieuwsblad Very Happy

so the first question:

Who will go sec ond (as this is the first question)

Just guessing.

Muur Kappelmuur.  But I am going to bed now, and if I am right, will ask a question when I get up.

OK if I am right.

According to today's l'Equipe, which two riders would have won the most Tours if "they" (UCI, ASO, "someone") went down the standings and eliminated anyone involved in doping.  This is during the Armstrong years, 1999-2005.  I know this is not going to happen, but if they did, which two riders would have won two Tours each.

If I didn't get the answer right, then forget this question.

So I woke up and no one had an answer to the question Slapshot posed. What happens now?  Does he get to pose another question?

The correct answer to my question is Escartin and Azevedo.  According to l'Equipe.

I have no better answer to Slapshot than the one I gave.

FF - I don't think it is Kappelmuur.  I'll take a stab at Kluisberg though, but I won't ask a question 'cos I'm not sure the answer is right.  Neither am I sure if Slapshot is counting Kwaremont/Oude Kwaremont as distinct bergs...

Luckily, you answered your own question so does that mean you go again?

No it just means that I tried an answer, but got no response, So I thought I would withdraw rather than block the queue for answering.  I will try again.  I really was just guessing and I guessed wrongly, I suppose.

I keep waiting for Mr. S to give a question, I can't wait any more as I just found a fairly good one.

Maybe.

Which rider rode the Tour for the last time in 1925 at the age of 40 and what TWO parts of the bike are forever linked to his name?

Fontfroide, having cheated a bit and found a list of riders in the 1925 Tour, I can see two possibities, but according to Wiki, neither could have been 40 that year!

Edit - OK, this is intriguing me.  What part of a bike is a Félix?  I know the other bit!
