Don't know if anyone's still interested, but I just read on the BBC 606 site that the old message boards will be closing on 30 November, so if anyone wants to copy over any old threads they should do so by then!

Not really - it was more by way of a "public service announcement"! I think it's probably time to look forward rather than back in any case, though maybe we should save some classical Smauderisms if he's not coming over to this site (the unprovoked attack on bergaretxebe and all Basques for being "racist" (Hincapie to Euskatel thread) was one of my favourites, along with the justification for his correct and incorrect predictions, effectively saying "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" (For the Record thread)?

Sounds like a plan. Do you want to move them?

I really should start a new Pantanifan thread...

BTW might be moving to Ro in the spring.

No.

Do you have a job offer over there or more for "personal reasons"? Which area would you be moving to?

I've got some research funding and a pile of papers to read.

my favourite smarauder bit was when someone pretended to be him. perhaps we could just do that? or perhaps he's mutuated into someone else - we'll know when the racing seasons starts and he can't help spouting his predictions.

I think that might have been the thread I initiated entitled "Just For the Record II", where we did a bit of a send-up, with some help from naspa... Embarassed

Maybe we could just continue where we left off in this thread?

You've been a bit quiet lately - better be careful as either crash or bbnaz might beat you to the special prize awarded for reaching 500 posts first! The race is on...

That was a quality thread

Stemming from

I'd forgotten Marauder stalking me.

A legend in my own lunchtime.

I have even more people to offend and annoy here - which is great. And I can be even more offensive than normal.

I've been hella busy of late so I've not really had time to keep up.
